Tribunal Secretaries

A number of our junior members accept appointments as tribunal secretaries to assist tribunals with carefully defined tasks, as agreed by the parties, in the administration of domestic and international arbitrations.

These tasks include communicating on behalf of the tribunal, organising documents, proofreading and organising procedural matters. In addition, if the parties approve, substantive tasks can be undertaken, such as summarising submissions, reviewing authorities and preparing first drafts of sections of awards.

With experience of the rules of numerous institutions, including the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, ICSID and others, tribunals benefit from the efficiency and application of our junior members and their knowledge of arbitration practice and procedure.

Should you be interested in appointing one of our members as a tribunal secretary, please contact Chris Jones, ADR clerk: +44 (0) 207 634 9044
